Tragic News – Death of Mayor, Barry Panter

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of the Mayor of Newcastle Under Lyme, and Madeley resident, Barry Panter.

A former Parish Councillor on Madeley Parish Council, Barry was a much loved and respected member of our community and his passing is felt by us all.

The thoughts and wishes of the whole Council are with Barry’s family at this time of great sadness.
